PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

The PADI Open Water Diver course is your gateway to the fascinating underwater world. In this entry-level course, you'll acquire the skills and knowledge to dive safely and environmentally friendly while having loads of fun both below and above the water.

The course takes 3 to 4 days and consists of three parts: theory, skill training in shallow water and 4 open water dives. You can complete the theoretical part of the course through PADI eLearning, which we will provide you with access to. It is available in numerous languages, online or offline on your computer, smartphone, or tablet, allowing you to study at your own pace. Alternatively, you can also study using a book and video. The theory can then be finished together with your dive instructor in our dive center.

The course begins with a theoretical introduction and getting acquainted with your diving equipment. Afterward, you'll head to the beach there you'll learn your first diving skills in shallow water, gradually preparing yourself for the open water dives. These dives take place at the dive sites off the west coast of Koh Kood, featuring calm, warm, and clear waters teeming with a variety of colorful fish, making these stunning tropical coral reefs perfect for beginners.

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is valid life long and world wide. It allows you to dive together with a certified dive buddy to a max. depth of 18 meters.
